EA set to publish the third title in the popular arcade racing series...

Various reports are today suggesting that EA have snatched the rights to the latest Burnout title from under the nose of Acclaim, if the reports are led to be believed then ‘Burnout 3’ will become one of the key titles from EA in 2004.

Unfortunately nothing is known officially about the title at the present time; however it’s been claimed that the game will appear on all three consoles at the same time and feature online support, although the relationship between EA and Microsoft will presumably determine the extent of these on the Xbox version, whilst we’d assume no such options would be available on the GameCube version.

We’ll hopefully have an official confirmation of ‘Burnout 3’ soon.
