More Brutal Legend Wii Rumours News

Earlier this week, Double Fine Productions' Tim Schafer was suspiciously coy when asked whether Brutal Legend was coming to Wii, and now further rumours have surfaced suggesting that EA does have a Brutal Legend game on the way for Nintendo's console, although it's not under production at Double Fine.

Variety is reporting on "several good sources" who have revealed that Brutal Legend is in development for the Wii, while also pointing out that development on the title started fairly recently.

Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the title are currently in development at Double Fine and scheduled for release during the autumn of this year although, if these fresh rumours are accurate, then this alleged Wii version is unlikely to see release during the same window as the next-gen versions unless its development cycle is incredibly short.

Earlier this week, Tim Schafer (Double Fine's Founder) was asked by 1up whether a Wii version is in the works. After asking a PR rep how to respond to the question he could only say, "We are making an Xbox 360 and a PS3 version of Brutal Legend."
