EA has announced an October 16th European release date for Brutal Legend on PS3 and Xbox 360...

Electronic Arts and developer Double Fine Productions have just announced the European release date for Brutal Legend, Xbox 360 and PS3 copies of which will be hitting store shelves on October 16th.
Staring the irrepressible Jack Black, Brutal Legend tells the story of Eddie Riggs, a rock and/or roll roadie who gets knocked unconscious one day and wakes up in a magical mystery world of rock nostalgia under the control of evildoer Doviculus (complete with demon army, the Tainted Coil).
"Wooo! Having an official release date is awesome!" said Tim Schafer, President of Double Fine Productions. "And how cool is it that EA threw down the dough to have the name of an entire month changed to Rocktober?"
Still no word on the rumoured Wii version of the game though.
