HI IF ANY OF YOU ARE GETTING THE BLACK CHARACTERS, IT IS BECAUSE YOUR COMPUTER HAS MORE THAN ONE CPU.
BUT AS ALWAYS THERE IS A WAY AROUND IT.... FOR WINDOWS 7 USERS FOLLOW THESE VERY EASY STEPS. (REMEMBER THIS CAN BE CHANGED BACK AFTER)
1) PRESS START MENU
2) IN THE SEARCH BOX TYPE " MSCONFIG " AMD PRESS ENTER (A NEW BOX WILL APPEAR CALLED SYSTEM CONFIGURATION)
3) CLICK ON THE " BOOT " TAB THEN ON "ADVANCE OPTIONS "
4)TICK IN THE BOX NEXT TO " NUMBER OF PROCESSES " AND USE THE DROP DOWN BOX TO SELECT 1 ONLY.
5)CLOSE THE BOX DOWN AND THE COMPUTER WILL ASK TO RESTART, DO THIS AND THE GAME WILL WORK FINE FROM NOW ON.
6) TO GO BACK TO NORMAL AFTER FOLLOW STEPS 1 TO 4 BUT DESELECT THE TICK AND RESTART.

My computer is quite old, 1.6 GHz, but it still starts the game. I see the intro and all, but when I have to actually play, the screen goes on and off, on and off, like a flashlight. Super annoying. Do you think this is simply because my computer can't take it? Or is there any way of fixing this..
