When first playing the game, start with the Novice level at St. Andrews. This is a much easier driving course than Royal Troon, and you won't have to spend all day in the rough while you get the hang of the swing mechanism.Troon

If you find yourself in one of the numerous deep bunkers on these courses, use the high-sand lob on the Shot Designer screen to get out. These are evil bunkers, and just getting out is a tough job.
