Publisher Hothead Games confirms that a PS3 version of indie platformer Braid is on the way...

Following its appearance on the German USK game ratings site yesterday, a PS3 version of Braid has now been confirmed for release on PSN by Canadian developer-come-publisher, Hothead Games.

"I can confirm that Hothead is developing a PSN version of Braid for North America and Europe, with no launch timeframe currently available," a Hotheaded spokesperson (see what we did there?) told Eurogamer.

Originally released over XBLA in August 2008, Braid has since been launched for the PC platform (via Steam in April 2009) and then Mac a month later. We'll let you know as soon as we know more about the PS3 version's estimated time of arrival.

This news comes at the same time as Braid's creator, Jonathan Blow has revealed a title and teaser site for his next project, The Witness.
