Coro Coro Comic confirms a DS adaptation of Hideo Kojima's innovative solar series...

Coro Coro Comic has brought the first information regarding Hideo Kojima's vampire/solar powered series, Boktai, making its debut on the Nintendo DS. Following three intriguing if somewhat underwhelming GameBoy Advance titles, the DS version promises plenty of changes, largely stemming from the lack of a solar device this time around.

Instead the article makes reference to an artificial sun on the top screen along with the game making use of the DS internal clock to dictate the flow of day and night within the game. What initially sounds like a disappointing alteration could actually make the game more feasible, particularly when it comes to playing for only a few hours during the cold, harsh winter months.
