OXM brings word on Codemasters' shooter from the creator of Black...

Criterion proved that they're not just all about arcade racers and high speed collisions with the 2006 release of Black.  Despite amazing the critics with its sheer intensity, nothing much came of the title so the creative director, Stuart Black, departed and teamed up with Codemasters.  The first details of which are to be found in the latest issue of OXM.

Beyond some superlative descriptions - "spectacular and frankly mental" - we don't know too much more beyond the fact it's going under the name of Bodycount, which probably describes quite aptly what we can expect when the game is officially revealed in the not too distant future.

So Stuart Black cites Lada GaGa's 2009 Glastonbury appearance as "revelatory" - isn't that the one where all the hermaphrodite rumours stemmed from?  Maybe we'll have a Crying Game surprise in Bodycount?!?
