Downloadable content for Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, ASH and Cry On...
In a recent interview with Famitsu, Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi has expressed satisfaction with the performance of his first Xbox 360 RPG, Blue Dragon, across Japan. Although the title failed to set cash registers alight and significantly boost the appeal of Microsoft's box throughout Japan, the 135,000 units represent the most successful 360 title to date across the territory.
Confirming that the team are currently localising the RPG in eight different languages for a release across the West later in the year, Sakaguchi also mentions that the team are working on downloadable content to be released shortly. Pledging extra content for the shoot-em-up sections, the update will also allow players to run through the game on a second occasion whilst keeping character stats intact.
Finally, Sakaguchi provided a heads up on his other projects. Work is still underway at Artoon on the next Xbox 360 RPG, Lost Odyssey, whilst the DS RPG ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat is also ongoing. Sakaguchi is also assisting with the Cavia developed Xbox 360 Action-RPG, Cry On, though details on this still remain sketchy for the time being.

Blue Dragon is awesome. The combat system is amazing, cinematic and strategic - far better then FFXII. DBZ fans will love the art direction as well.

Im really looking forward to this game and its about time we had a game of this nature on the Xbox 360. Xbox 360 is certainly lacking quality Japanese games....

LMAO! That's expecting WAAAAY too much. That many 360s haven't even been sold in Japan since last year. "Gamers have been spoiled by MS in Japan" No they haven't, Sony and Nintendo spoils them, MS gives them one crappy game and thinks it can stop the 360 sinking ship.

gamers have been spoiled by micrsoft in japan, I wonder if Australia and NZ snubbed microsoft, would we get games made specifically fr us, and a heavily discounted console as well to go with it?

Interesting but the Japanese people demand more though, one game cannot satify the interest of many for prolong time. They need more.
