Blue Dragon Flies To Europe In August News

Microsoft confirms an end of August release date for the latest game from the mind of Hironobu 'Final Fantasy' Sakaguchi...

Breathing some form of life into the Xbox 360 when it launched in Japan towards the end of 2006, Mistwalker and Artoon's Blue Dragon has finally been given a release date for Europe.

Confirmed for August 24th, four days ahead of its release on North America, the game follows a boy called Shu and his friends as they battle against the evil forces threatening their land.

The game has been developed by Hironobu Sakaguchi and Artoon, with character design from Akira Toriyama and a score written by another Final Fantasy veteran, Nobuo Uematsu, and is the most popular Xbox 360 title in Japan - over 100,000 units had been sold up to March this year.
