Quick fighter and stage unlock

Note: This trick requires two controllers. Enter the options menu. Set the "Autosave" setting to "On" and "Team Members" to "5". Start the game in vs. team battle mode. Choose any five characters for both teams. Press Start then select "Quit" as soon as the match begins. Select vs. team battle mode again, and repeat the same steps, immediately quitting after each match begins. Kohryu, Uranus, and Fang will be unlocked will eventually become unlocked as you do this. You must do this over twenty five times in

Fight as Cronos the Phoenix

Successfully complete the game two times to unlock Cronos the Phoenix.

Fight as Fang

Successfully complete arcade mode with all characters (including Uranus and Kohryu). Keep selecting the "Random" option in arcade mode until Fang appears. Successfully complete the game in arcade mode as Fang to unlock him permanently at the character selection screen. Note: Fang is the third alternate costume of Yugo.

Highlight Yugo at the character selection screen and press Y once or twice until Fang's name appears.

Fight as Ganesha the Elephant

Successfully complete the game one time to unlock Ganesha the Elephant.

Fight as Kohryu

Play the game in arcade mode. Win four consecutive rounds. You will fight Kohryu in the next round. Defeat him, then complete arcade mode to unlock Kohryu the Iron Mole as a selectable character.

Note: Kohryu plays just like Bakuryu.

Fight as Uranus

Defeat Uranus in stage 16 of survival mode.

To unlock Uranus easier, unlock and enable "No walls" mode. Then, select Long or Shenlong as your fighter. Before the fight starts, run, then do their grab. You should do a ring out. Keep doing this and you will be past 21 rounds easily.

Fight against Uranus

Successfully complete the game three times to unlock Uranus. She resembles some kind of Minotaur.

Chaos Lab stage

Defeat Uranus in survival mode to unlock her Chaos Lab stage.

Evil Laboratory stage

Successfully complete the game two times to unlock Cronos the Phoenix's Evil Laboratory stage.

Indian Palace stage

Successfully complete the game one time to unlock Ganesha the Elephant's Indian Palace stage.

Com battle option
