Fatal Inertia and Bladestorm set to appear on PlayStation3...
Developer/publisher Koei has today revealed the titles of two original IPs for PlayStation3. Fatal Inertia is a hover-racing title that will draw inevitable comparisons between SCEE Liverpool Studio's WipEout and the pod-racing in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Emphasis is being placed on the feeling of inertia (the clue is in the title) with Koei expressing that the capabilities of the PS3 allow for an advanced physics engine.
Contrasting with Fatal Inertia, very little is known about Bladestorm: Hundred Years War other than that it's a brawling title, much like one of Koei's other franchises, Dynasty Warriors.
We'll have more coverage shortly...

Exclusivity in third-party titles is certainly a rarity in the next-gen...Capcom so far is holding out with Devil May Cry 4, and Square Enix with FFXIII...

''I've always been a playstation (1 and 2) fan but I think Sony are relying too much on gamer loyalty for the PS3. We aren't gonna wait around for ages, then get ripped off when Microsoft have a product out there that we all already know is very good and that all the titles we loved on Playstation are going to be available in their next reincarnation on the X Box 360'' So similar to my story and it raises a good point, iv'e decided to make the switch and go 360 this gen and if I have enough money towards the end I'll get a ps3 but so far there are just too many good games on the 360 and iv'e been ignoring them for so long out of spite and besides it's about the games and I have to take my hat off to ms they have done a good job.

It is almost as if they are making it easy for Microsoft to win this round of the console wars.
