Black, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and PES5, along with a host of improvements in the latest update...

A new update to the Xbox 360 has recently added new titles to the list of backwards compatible games, along with fixing many problems that gamers have had with past titles.

New titles to the list include Criterion's BLACK, Pandemic/Activision's Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 5/World Soccer Winning Eleven 9.

The patch also addresses many complaints such as frame-rate issues in Lionhead's Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapter, and hopefully finally addresses the physics issues in Half Life 2 that made it impossible to actually progress beyond the first few levels.

A full list of updated games includes:

Darkwatch Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Half-Life 2 Fable Fable: The Lost Chapters Forza Motorsport Ninja Gaiden Ninja Gaiden Black SSX 3 Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory kill.switch World Series Baseball 2K3

In case you are still getting the "hundreds of updates" screen when trying to play fable on your 360, you have to be signed into xbox live FIRST, then launch the game. I was getting the same update screen and then decided to sign into xbox live first, then launch the game. Now if plays fine.
