Bioshock PS3 Extra Content Dated News
Three new Challenge Rooms and more Trophies heading to the PS3 version of Rapture for less than ten dollars...
By Jon WilcoxPosted: 03/11/2008
2K Games has today confirmed that the downloadable content for Bioshock on PlayStation 3 will be arriving on November 20th for $9.99 (£6.31). The add on pack, exclusive to the Sony system, features a small selection of three Challenge Rooms together with new Trophies to unlock.
The thee rooms are:
A Shocking Turn of Events – A Little Sister is trapped atop a Ferris wheel in an undisclosed location in Rapture. Using only the tools and environment around them, players must use their wits to create electricity to power the Ferris wheel and bring the Little Sister to safety.
The I in Team – Using limited resources, and an even more limited arsenal, players must negotiate traps and find a way to defeat a Big Daddy using their wits instead of raw fire-power.
Worlds of Hurt – Step up and take on the most gruelling challenge offered in the world of Rapture. Players must battle through eight rooms of Big Daddies, Splicers and the worst that Rapture has to offer. Accumulate Adam, build an arsenal of Plasmids, Tonics and Weaponry, and fight through to rescue the Little Sister.
Bioshock arrived on PlayStation 3 last month, and was a joint venture by 2K Games' studios in Marin, Boston, Australia, and Digital Extremes.

Serouisly if your going to sit here and insult the 360 you know dude it just proves your a [#@!?]ing A** who didn't do any research before you ranted on about your "superior" system. Red rings of death sure it happens but you can send it to get fixed and that doesn't take to much time or money. Subscribtion to LIVE sure it cost money but they have the membership for like 5 bucks. Look 360 and Ps3 are pretty equal neither is really all that diffrent just the brand. some diffrent exclusive games and blu ray for the PS3 (Whipdi freaking do bluray!) but if you look at most of the games out that are good you can find them on PS3 or 360.
PS3: has got good excluisve games like MGS4
360: Halo 3
So dude get iover your self your just proving you have no life to everyone here by ranting on about a systen that isn't anymore superior than the 360.

iceblade you sad fanboy tw@ get a fu**in brain, how the fu** is the ps3 supiror to the 360, when the ps3 breaks theres no warning lights (the red ring dont mean the consoles dead though you thick sony fanboys dont know fu** all about the 360) yeah blu-ray next gen lol so why is burnout paradise comming to playstation store later this year also why is sony bringing out a 160gb ps3 if blu-ray is the gaming future lol future proof my a*s. (also just like what happened after a few years of the expencive dvd players back in 2001 came the cheaper a lot cheaper dvd player will be alba blu-ray players so who needs a ps3 as the cheapest way to watch blu-ray films when alba/goodmans/bush/warfdale ect bring out blu-ray players costing less than £70). but here is the clincher that all sad fanboys rip the 360 with rrod and pay to play online (wow £35 a year for xbox live and rrod isnt reall red ring of death the ring idicates a fault ie the av cable isnt pluged in though like i said you sony fanboys dont know sh** about 360)

actually im going to laugh at IP Address: ***.***.124.217 as only a few days ago i was talking about this now its on this very site. read on little stupid boy..... Could Intel's GPGPU be appearing in the Xbox 720 or PlayStation 4... Larrabee, Intel's foray into the world of discrete graphics processors, could be shaping future next-gen consoles, according to comments from the chip manufacturer in an interview with Develop. Offering developers a fully programmable pipeline and based around the popular x86 instruction set, the Larrabee specifications are considered to be closer to that of a multi-core CPU than traditional GPU technology. Such a design allows the technology to fluidly handle tasks not typically assigned to the GPU, helping out the CPU as and when needed, and unlocking the true potential of parallel computing offered by multi-core architecture. Intel's Aaron Coday revealed, "It's definitely something we would want to discuss with the console vendors, and hope that the architecture that we're providing is something that is very compelling for them and be interesting." A paper released at SIGGRAPH 2008 indicated that 25 Larrabee cores running at 1GHz could potentially run Gears of War at 60fps at a resolution of 1600x1200 - this is believed to be a conservative estimation as the cores are widely expected to run faster than 1GHz. Samples of Larrabee are expected to be unveiled towards the end of the year, with the first video card based around the technology expected in late 2009 or 2010

actually im gonna change my attitude towards this pathetic argument. its not about how powerfull a games machine is its about how good the developers make the games (just look at mario galaxy and tell me that game is cra* on an underpowered console or that the developers got there heads round the consoles limitations and made an awsomly playable game)
