Ken Levine reveals that Irrational Games will start talking about its unannounced project this year...
Ken Levine, the Creative Director at Irrational Games has stated that the studio will start revealing information on its unannounced project this year, specifying that details will arrive at some point after the Game Developers Conference in March.
"This is the year we'll start talking about stuff, and we stop hiding behind the iron curtain of secrecy," Levine told Gamespot, although he wouldn't confirm whether any announcements are planned for June's E3 convention in Los Angeles.
The project in question is currently the only game in development at Irrational according to Levine, who commented, "...we make sure we don't overstretch ourselves. If we were to go to multiple projects, we'd have to make sure we had the infrastructure to do multiple teams at once."
Job ads on the studio's website have revealed that this project is "an unannounced shooter", while one ad for a Multiplayer Level Designer is a clear indication that Irrational is looking to attach a significant multiplayer component onto the game. "BioShock had no multi-player mode. We don't believe in throwing in something that can't go head to head with the big boys," it reads.
Last week, TVG uncovered some hidden code in the new Irrational Games website that hinted towards Greek mythological themes in the unannounced shooter. Could Irrational be gearing up for God of War meets BioShock? It looks like we'll find out later this year...

Let's hope that the single player matches the quality of the first game rather than the second.
