Following a cross-platform release towards the end of 2006, Eidos has today confirmed that Bionicle Heroes will launch on Wii during Easter 2007. The game, based on the LEGO franchise, follows a race for the Mask of Life between the Toa and the Piraka, with players collecting various masks for new abilities throughout the course of the adventure.

The unique control mechanic will provide a completely new gameplay experience and will immerse the player even further into the world of BIONICLE." said Scott Dodkins, European Managing Director for Eidos Interactive.

Bionicle Heroes will mark Eidos' debut on Wii.
