UK's largest supermarket announces agreement with Handleman Company to target movies, music and games...
Tesco's grip on the entertainment sector is set to intensify throughout next year as the UK's largest supermarket announced an agreement with the Handleman Company. The category manager will provide distribution, in-store merchandising and category management for music, movies and videogames throughout 700 Tesco stores across the UK, commencing in April 2007.
Stephen Strome, Handleman Company Chairman and CEO said, "We are excited by the opportunity to provide Tesco stores with distribution, in-store merchandising and category management support. This opportunity aligns with our strategic focus of growing our business through providing services based on our core competencies, as well as accomplishing customer diversification."
