Hideki Kamiya believes that there will be a Bayonetta 2 as long as gamers "believe so"...
The Director of Bayonetta, Hideki Kamiya has teased the Twittersphere by stating that he believes there will be a Bayonetta 2, although it sounds like the sequel is far from a done deal at this stage.
When asked via Twitter whether there will be a Bayonetta 2, Kamiya-san replied "I believe so". However, after being pushed on the matter he added in a second Tweet, "She'll be back if you believe so."
It kind of sounds like a Cartesian dilemma to be honest but at least we know that Kamiya-san is eager to make a sequel. Click through here to find out why we loved the first game so much.

Bayonetta marks a great start to the decade for games and it's also a start to the decade that's littered with other hack 'n slash games (i.e. the better-than-expected Darksiders, Dante's Inferno, and God of War III).
It's certainly a welcome return of the genre when there was only one game of this type (Batman: Arkham Asylum) worth shouting about last year.
But which one will be the best when the dust settles later this year? My money is on God of War III with Bayonetta coming in a very close second place.
