Eidos' Battlestations: Pacific prepares to surface on May 15th for the Xbox 360 and PC...
Battlestations: Pacific, the sequel to 2007's Battlestations: Midway, is set for release on the Xbox 360 and PC this May 15th, offering up a wide range of enhancements from the original game.
Taking place across 28 missions, the game's expanded single-player campaign will now feature both US missions against the Japanese Axis forces, as well as a fictional 'what if?' campaign from the perspective of the Japanese Imperial Navy.
With five new modes for up to 8 players in the multiplayer game, Battlestations: Pacific is certainly set to bolster the content present in the first game by a substantial margin. It's a bit of a complex gaming experience though, so you might want to brush up on your combat skills by sneaking a peak at our preview.
"With over 100 authentic air, sea and undersea units, a compelling mix of action and strategy and an extensive multiplayer game, Battlestations: Pacific(tm) lets players participate in the Pacific conflict like no other game before it," said Lee Singleton, General Manager of Eidos Game Studios. "With direct control over fighters, bombers, kamikaze planes, destroyers, aircraft carriers, submarines and many more, including powerful prototype units, they will experience a level of immersion that truly brings the conflict to life."

Just tap the left bumper button and you'll bring up the command system to launch planes - make sure to tap it rather than hold it.

CHEAT CODES...... WHY THE H*LL DO YOU WANT CHEAT CODES............. finish a game without them, its much more satisfying

How about longer flame plumes & cascading smoke that doesnt go away too fast. I would like to see some sailors on the ships jumping in the water. I would also like to see a lot more cheat codes. How about god mode or the ability to alter your weapons. Troop landings & invasions would be pretty cool also. d
