Another point to make post 63 even if you have pre ordered it ( which i very much doubt ), they don't take the payment from your credit card until the game is released

Let's get one thing straight with Battlefield 3: EA has only acknowledged its existence briefly in a financial conference at this stage. There has been no official announcement containing a press release and assets from EA yet.
How post 63 managed to make a pre-order on the EA Store is beyond me. I certainly can't find the directory on the website now. Sounds like porkie pies to me.

usually a preorder doesnt require full payment but i doubt that EA is making a huge amount of intrest from just £15, other than that £15 for a new game is some what of a bargain, even if you have to wait for it.

I preordered 3 for PC at 14.95 from EA Store months ago. Hope they are loving the interest they are making on my money :-(

I'll be building a new gaming PC for Battlefield 3, and I hope its all DX 11, and uses the destruction 2 Frostbite engine.

To reiterate the posts below, we can't even be absolutely sure that the game is still in development, let alone when it's going to release. Clearly DICE has been working on a Battlefield 3 over the last few years though...
