A mention of a Battlefield 2142 Booster Pack appears on the official site, but is swiftly removed.
It seems that someone over at Electronic Arts has let the cat out of the bag by uploading details on a new upcoming Booster Pack for Battlefield 2142. Entitled Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike, the details were spotted over at community site Planet Battlefield, before someone at EA realised their mistake and pulled the relevant pages.
Set to make an appearance during the spring, Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike will follow the continuing conflict between the Pan-Asian Coalition and the European Union, as the fighting moves into the areas of Northern and Central Europe. Featuring snow-covered landscapes across three new maps (two of which offer Titan Mode functionality), two additional vehicles (IFV Speeder for the PAC, and IFV Goliath for the EU), ten new unlocks, and increased levels of persistence, the Booster Pack certainly looks set to excite Battlefield fans.
Besides making the unscheduled appearance on the official website, EA is yet to 'officially' confirm the Booster Pack.
