EA and DICE announce the Autumn release of the Special Forces Expansion Pack for Battlefield 2...
Despite only recently releasing the main game, Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions have today confirmed that an expansion pack for Battlefield 2, entitled â??Special Forcesâ??, will be released in Autumn 2005. The pack will enable players to choose to fight as one of six groups including the Navy SEALS, SAS, and Spetznas as well as rebels and insurgents. â??Special Forcesâ?? will also feature 10 additional vehicles to control and persistent character growth as gamers engage in major conflicts with up to 64 other online players.
The expansion pack has been developed by Digital Illusionsâ?? Canadian studios, and requires the original Battlefield 2 to play.
