Warner Bros. Interactive gets extravagant with the CE for Batman: Arkham City...
After being spotted in US retailer listings last week, Warner Bros. Interactive has now officially announced that a Collector's Edition for Rocksteady Studios' Batman: Arkham City will be shipped to the UK in time for the game's launch on October 21st.
Comic fans will no doubt appreciate the Kotobukiya custom statue and Batman: Gotham Knight animated movie, while gamers will also enjoy the usual art book and exclusive access to in-game items (a Challenge Map and Dark Knight Returns skin). A soundtrack will also ship with the CE, which you can see spread out in the image below.
Major UK retailers are yet to list the CE on their sites and Warner Bros. hasn't announced a price point for the UK at this stage. However, listings on US retailer sites, BestBuy and GameStop remain at the $100 (£60) price that was first spotted last week, although that does seem remarkably as the Kotobuyika statue is likely to be worth at least half that price by itself. We'll let you know when more info surfaces for the UK...
