Following online rumours of a high-profile cancellation, Rare confirms to TVG that all is well with development...
Despite rumours swirling around the net, Rare has today confirmed to TVG that Banjo-Kazooie 3 has not been cancelled, and is so far doing an 'admirable job'.
True to form, when asked about the status of the next Banjo-Kazooie game, Rare mumbled something about cake and walked off. Responding with additional clarification, one spokesperson for the iconic studio commented, "Yes, the third installment of Banjo-Kazooie is still in full production, that is to say, it has not been cancelled...Also, cake is yummy."
Unveiled at X06, Banjo-Kazooie 3 is expected a release in 2008, marking the first time the bear and bird have made an appearance on a home console since 2000's Banjo-Tooie on Nintendo 64. The online rumours emerged over the weekend, with suggestions that Microsoft were on the verge of canceling one of their high-profile first-party titles.
So far, Microsoft Game Studios is yet to respond but given that many of the first-party titles in development are already fairly advanced, perhaps speculation will now turn to Wingnut Interactive/Peter Jackson's untitled Halo 'experience' instead, which hasn't been heard of since the director walked on stage with Peter Moore at the Barcelona event.

sorry i dont quite understand where you think nuts and bolts sucked i think the games awsome and very refreshing not the same old platformer (run jump kill a few enemys jumps some more) this is where platform games need to be heading, not going back in time otherwise they all play the same just having a different hero ie sonic mario (yes 2 different platformers but the actual gameplay hasnt changed all that much though mario is the better game by miles)

Will banjo kazooie 1 work for xbox 360 itself?
I need the game to unlock stop and swop in nuts and bolts, so i can complete the nuts and bolts game 100%.
If anyone tells me, Then i will reveal the answer to stop and swop. [i will! I figured the answer out long ago]
