Splash Damage reveals that it already has "big plans" for two further Brink games...

Even though Splash Damage and Bethesda haven't even released the first Brink game yet, the game's developer has nevertheless revealed that it has "big plans" for two sequels after the first game launches next spring.

"If [players] are willing to take the chance, they will find that this becomes another landmark franchise that they'll keep wanting to come back to," said the game's Creative Director, Richard Ham. "I'm looking forward to Brink 2 and 3 as well. We already have big plans for that."

The Left 4 Dead-esque co-op shooter is also aimed towards gamers who wouldn't usually play a multiplayer FPS as well, apparently:

"We are actually trying to make a multiplayer game that invites more players in who would normally not give multiplayer the time of day," explained Ham. "Me personally, I'm one of those players. I'll finish the story campaign and then I'll just put it up on a shelf and walk away. How often in life do you pay good money for a form of entertainment that makes you feel bad about yourself?"

Thanks, EGTV.
