Bethesda and Splash Damage's untitled project is called BRINK, due in spring 2010 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC...

We now know the name of Bethesda and Splash Damage's project thanks to a new teaser trailer that reveals BRINK as the title, spring 2010 as a slated launch window, and Xbox 360, PS3, and PC as formats.

That's about all you're getting at the moment though, apart from some mysterious talk about an Arc (it provides ample renewable energy apparently) and the unfortunate occurrence that it initially appears to be the saviour of a planet only to end up tearing it apart.

BRINK's setting seems to be a kind of sci-fi fantasy at this stage, although we're not quite sure what to make of the face at the end of the trailer, so we'll let you decide...

BRINK - Teaser Trailer

Bethesda and Splash Damage' mysterious project gets the teaser treatment...

Bethesda's Managing Director, Sean Brennan has previously described its project with Splash Damage as "a genre-breaker" and the publisher has also stated in the past that it intends to reveal more at E3 this year. Colour us intrigued.

Best known for their Enemy Territory games of id's Wolfenstein and Quake franchises, Splash Damage has made its name as a specialist in online multiplayer shooters.
