NCsoft Release Auto Assault Update News

NCsoft has today announced the release of update two for NetDevil's vehicular MMO Auto Assault, with new missions (including a new arena tournament map in Coliseum), a range of new items dubbed the 'Battlemaster Set', and improved vehicular controls.

Confirmed earlier in the summer, Auto Assault update two will also feature improved weapons targeting, and system-level enhancements that NCsoft hopes will increase the level of fun for newcomers of the MMO.

"We're excited to bring these updates to Auto Assault," said Todd Keister, Producer for Auto Assault at NCsoft. "These features really kick the game up a notch in terms of carnage, destruction, and meaningful content. For those who haven't seen the game since beta, I really encourage you to check it out now. And be ready for more, because we've got additional enhancements in the works."

Although the additional content is a welcome one for any MMO subscriber, today's statement by NCsoft does include a new initiative that masks the performance of the title: a customer referral program that rewards players that introduce newcomers to Auto Assault with free game time.
