A raft of extras set to be included in the Collector's Edition of NCSoft's vehicular MMO...

NCSoft has today announced details of the Collector's Edition of the forthcoming MMO, Auto Assault. Together with the manual and the Auto Assault Client on a single DVD, gamers who purchase the Collector's Edition will get an exclusive in-game 'pet' in the form of a radio-controlled car, and 19-track soundtrack from the game composed by Richard Dekkard, an Auto Assault poster, a headset (including microphone) for in-game chat, a fold-out road map of the gameworld (Central Wastlelands), a key ring, collectable postcards, and a 14-day Free Trial for a friend.

The publisher also confirms that a Pre-order box of Auto Assault will be available on March 17th, ahead of the game's Spring 2006 release. Gamers who purchase the Pre-order will obtain an exclusive in-game weapon, together with access to the Auto Assault Beta and a four day head start when the game launches. Furthermore, NCSoft has confirmed that the Pre-Order will be fully redeemable against both the Collector's and Standard Editions of Auto Assault.

We'll have more on Auto Assault shortly...
