NCSoft Confirms Auto Assault Release Date News

NCSoft has today announced that Auto Assault, the vehicular MMO from NetDevil, will be released on April 13th in both North America and Europe with pre-order players able to begin the adventure four days earlier, on April 9th.

In the game, which is set in a post-apocalyptic Earth, players can choose to be one of three races including human, and hunt down some of the last remaining resources left in the world. PvE and PvP quests are available in the game, whilst parties of players (called Convoys) will have their own adventures to follow.

"Auto Assault offers a brand new experience, combining the depth of traditional online role-playing games with the fast, frenetic pace of action games," said Geoff Heath, CEO of NCsoft Europe. "We are delighted that we can continue to follow the trend we set with Guild Wars by presenting Auto Assault simultaneously in both North America and Europe, ensuring that our players can enjoy the fastest game around from day one."

In addition, NCSoft has confirmed that Auto Assault will retail for £29.99 in the standard pack, or £44.99 in the collector's edition; each edition comes with 30 days free play, with the monthly subscription charge set at £8.99.
