Agreement reached between Infogrames and creditors to delay repayment of interest...

Following a difficult financial quarter, Atari's parent company Infogrames has announced that it's reached an agreement with bond holders to delay the repayment of 13.4 million Euros (£9.29 million) worth of interest by three months with the amount now due by June 15th 2006.

The figure is in addition to 23 million Euros (£15.94 million) owed by the same date, and a further 5 million Euros (£3.47 million) owed between now and June.

Despite such news, two titles in particular are looking to help change the fortunes of the developer/publisher: Test Drive Unlimited on Xbox 360 and PC, and the highly anticipated Neverwinter Nights 2 are both due out during the course of 2006.

The news comes just weeks after the company announced plans to sell off its catalogue of internal studios including Driver developers, Reflections.

We'll have more news shortly...
