Ubisoft UK Community Manager confirms on the game's official forums that a patch will be released shortly...
Having topped the UK charts in its debut week, the PlayStation 3 version of Assassin's Creed will be getting a patch 'as soon as possible.'
In a post on the official Assassin's Creed forum, UK Community Manager 'UbiRazz' confirmed that the upcoming patch will help improve stability in the PlayStation 3 version.
Additional details on the fixes are yet to be announced.

This game is a perfect example of what is wrong with game development in this era of next-generation consoles. All the time and money is spent on graphics, neglecting the development of gameplay. Repetively tedious and tediously repetitive, this game is an absolute insult to the consumer and gamer. The developers should not be rewarded for producing this abomination. Don't buy it.

if your considering getting a 360 get Halo 3 and Gears of War before this because those are the Best games for the console. This game is alright not as good as halo and gow though.

the storyline is good and the graphics are awesome but the game structure is repetitive boring, and ultimately disappointing. It will however make a lot of money and the developers have blatantly spent more time on the storyline and the development of sequels than the actual content of the game itself.
