Ubisoft Massive Working On New Assassin's Creed News

Ubisoft Massive is currently working on a new Assassin's Creed project if a Tweet from the studio's publisher is anything to go by.

"Ubisoft's Massive studio teaming up on a project for Assassin's Creed. Openings to join them or at Ubisoft Annecy," the Ubisoft Tweet reads.

Ubisoft Annecy worked on the multiplayer component of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, while Ubisoft Montreal has developed the single-player campaigns of all three Assassin's Creed instalments so far, making Ubisoft Massive the third studio to work on Ubi's flagship franchise.

The studio, which is based in Sweden, was formerly known as Massive Entertainment before it was acquired by Ubisoft in 2008. Prior to that it had specialised in RTS games, most notably the World in Conflict series. World in Conflict: Soviet Assault (released last year) was the first title that it produced for Ubisoft, making this Assassin's Creed project the first original Ubisoft IP that the studio is known to be working on.

Ubiosft revealed last month that it's developing "another Big Assassin's Creed game" for next year, although it's unclear whether this Ubisoft Massive project is related to that. More as we get it...
