Assassin's Creed 2 Set For "Holiday 09" Release + Teaser News

The teaser trailer for Assassin's Creed 2 has been released and, along with it, Ubisoft has narrowed down the launch window for the title to "Holiday 2009" (to anyone who's not American, that means either November or December).

The trailer itself reveals little more than further Renaissance related imagery, as has already been grafted all over the teaser site before this blog attempted to explain it all in some Da Vinci Code-esque manner.

It confused us, but we stuck around long enough to find out that the protagonist's name (Ezio) means flying eagle in Latin (as Altair did in some ancient Middle-Eastern cultures), so no big surprises there then.
