Additional bikes, planes, and weapons are confirmed for European gamers...

505 Games has confirmed that European gamers will be even more armed to the teeth in the upcoming ArmA: Armed Assault, released for PC on February 16th.

The military sim will include two additional planes (Su-34 Fighter and Su-34 Bomber), two new motorbikes (TT650 and the M1030), and four new weapons (Russian rifle AKS74PSO; the KSVK; the giant US-designed M107 and US rifle variant the M16A4). A new mission, "Blood, Sweat, and Tears", will also be exclusively available in the PAL version of ArmA.

"We are really pleased to be able to enhance the ArmA experience with this excellent exclusive content for the game's February launch", said Marek Spanel, Project Lead at BIS. "Offering such exciting new features before the game has even launched is Bohemia's way of showing our appreciation of the dedicated ArmA fan community and to reward gamers' patience as the game readies for release."

We'll have more news shortly...

If your a fan of Operation Flashpoint you will be very disapointed, the game may have updated graphics but sadly thats all, the actual game play is terrible, like everyone else is saying try a demo version first, don't just get the game.

Play the demo first... I have the Czech version translated to english via a patch. Things I like : - Graphics better than OFP - Larger map size - Like the fact you can choose optional missions in campaign What I don't like - Same buggy AI as OFP. Your team mates can be worthless at times - Boring missions. The missions provided feel like some of the worst crap fans have made over the years. Very amatuerish and devoid of any atmosphere. How many times do I have to be a truck driver? - Still no rivers. They have bridges but most of the time your team mates in other tanks fall through the bridge :( - Still no foxholes or trenches. Try telling infantry they can't dig in before an artillery strike.... - No improvements to mission maker. - No other tools provided at time of launch. Hopefully BISs track record to releasing tools is better than OFP. If this game out a couple years after OFP I would be less forgiving but its been almost 6 years since OFP came out.

Agree, first try the demo, you will discover a brand-new over-hyped beta crap game.....

Well if the UK version is going to have motorcycles and new weapons I can only hope that the American release will have additional content as well. Not to mention bug-fixes and much needed improvements in .... well ... everything. As long as I get napalm or cluster bombs I'm happy >:D

Mabye by the time 505 releases we'll be at patch v1506.86 and the game will give us what we want from it. From what I saw so far I'm disappointed :s

Because 505 are not a massive distributor like the likes of Codemasters and EA and cant just bang out millions and millions of copies and get all the manuals and all that in all the europian languages in a blink of an eye. Seen as they've only just tooken it on, 2 1/2 months is a good effort!!! I myself have already ordered from germany. Be grateful your not in the US, they aint even got a publisher!!! Realease Date - THERE AINT 1!!!!
