Get ready to take a trip to the city with confirmation that Animal Crossing: Let's Go To The City will be heading to Europe during December.

The latest title in Nintendo's life-sim series boasts an entire new city area to explore, along with the inclusion of the Wii Speak peripheral allowing groups of players to communicate online.

Shaping the world around you, decorating your home, and even shaping the constellations in the skies above, Animal Crossing is a game where you make the choices and there is no ultimate goal - if you fancy whiling away the hours fishing, go for it. Just remember the game is played in real-time, which means every hour that passes in the real world also occurs in Animal Crossing land.

The new city area adds plenty of shops, a theatre to watch shows and Gracie Grace, the exclusive department store that stocks a range of special items and furniture to customise your home.

Anybody who enjoyed Animal Crossing: Wild World will be able to import their customise character, along with using the DS as a suitcase to take character's to and from a friend's Wii - or just us the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support.
