GDC'06: Animal Crossing On Revolution News

Nintendo confirms that a Nintendo Revolution version of the game will be closer to Animal Crossing: Wild World...

Nintendo's Katsuya Eguchi has announced at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose that a Revolution version of Animal Crossing would closer resemble the forthcoming Animal Crossing: Wild World on Nintendo DS than the earlier GameCube release.

Describing the next-gen appearance of the game as 'a port', Egushi-san's comments seem to point towards a similar multiplayer experience as the DS' Wild World where players can go to a friend's village over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection though further details on that are currently unknown.

We might have to wait a bit before further information on the Revolution version of Animal Crossing is released, but TVG will have more coverage on Animal Crossing: Wild World on DS shortly...
