Inaba: Bayonetta In Anarchy Reigns "Would Be Fun" News

Speaking to TVG at a recent preview event for Anarchy Reigns, the game's Producer, Atsushi Inaba said that "it would be fun" to include other characters from Platinum Games' back-catalogue in its MadWorld-themed online brawler.

Inaba-san wouldn't confirm the exact number of characters in the new title, but gave an intriguingly coy answer when asked whether characters from the developer's other games - such as Bayonetta - were planned for Anarchy Reigns.

"Again, um... Can't really comment on it right now... but, it would be fun, if it happens... but um, yeah, we can't say anything about it, unfortunately."

Inaba-san also hinted that the game's-single player story mode might contain some as yet unannounced multiplayer elements when we asked whether it would feature co-op:

"Story mode is basically a single player mode, so it'll be just basically you, in front of your TV. But as this is a multiplayer game, and as we have a lot of unique and interesting characters, we were thinking of doing something using this element - although this is going to be single-player primarily - but we'd love to do something using other elements."
