Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding Review
More on this gameRetail wants more Cube`s to make up for Xbox shortfalls, whilst Sony keep on laughing.
Microsoft confirmed that they would be delaying the Xbox US release from the 8th November to the 15th November. The week delay is in order to allow their processing plant more time to keep up with demand.

Microsoft previously pledged 600,000 - 800,000 units for Day 1, however many are believing this to be extremely optimistic and are speculating that 300,000 would be nearer to the truth.

In other news, many major US retailers have asked Nintendo to increase their initial shipment to offset an expected shortfall in supply of Xbox's. However Japanese Nintendo Director, Hiroshi Imanishi, told Reuters:

"It seems impossible for us to make any change to our Gamecube shipment plan for this year given the limited production capacity,"

"We can't just shift some of the consoles which were made for the Japanese market to the U.S. market because such a move would upset Japanese retailers, who are also asking for more consoles,"

"It would be difficult for us to ship more than 1.1 million players this year in the U.S. market, but we will consider boosting production early next year if we confirm solid demand for the new console there after the release," Imanishi said.

To combat the impending threat from both Microsoft and Nintendo, it's been widely believed that Sony are about to announce a major price cut for the PS2. More on this as we get it.
