Amped 2 - New Screens News

When Microsoft unveiled Amped 2 to the gaming world two weeks ago, they forgot about releasing any screens (perhaps Photoshop wasn’t working? –ED) along with it, just a logo.<br><br>Thankfully the US giant today heard our cries and sent along the first 10 screens, and very nice they look to!!! If you read the games announcement, you’ll know by now that the game makes full use of Xbox Live!; Microsoft let slip some specific details to TVG today in regards to how this will work.<br><br>Beginning with a traditional ‘Head-to-Head’ mode; players will also have the ability to choose from eight-player ‘HORSE’ and 4-on-4 ‘King of the Mountain’ modes. It’s believed that the mountain will act as the games ‘lobby’, so you’ll be able to see players racing on the mountain around you.<br><br>Microsoft also revealed more details on the intriguing ‘butter’ combo system. Essentially this works like the ‘manual’ from Tony Hawk’s fame, allowing players to grind on the nose and tail to link moves and streamline the trick interface.<br><br>We’re big fans of the original and are certainly looking forward to checking this out at E3; we’ll have more information soon…
