PC Gamers Get Alone In The Dark News

Atari confirms that the next-title will also be released on PC...

Atari has today confirmed that the forthcoming Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation will also be released on PC. Already announced for Xbox 360 at X'05, the fifth instalment of the franchise that created the survival-horror genre will be released simultaneously released on both platforms at an undisclosed date. The game is yet to be announced for PlayStation3, however, despite contrary reports during the Tokyo Game Show from Sony.

Announcing the PC version Steve Tucker, Director of Marketing, Atari, Inc said "Alone in the Dark is returning to the format that launched survival gaming - the PC - and after nearly a decade and a half of ever-accelerating technological progress, we anticipate that the title will again take the lead on next-generation consoles with the Xbox 360 and PC...This is one for gamers to keep an eye on in the coming months as Atari and Eden begin to reveal details that will demonstrate how we will fulfil these promises."

There's no word on when Alone in the Dark: Near Death Investigation will be released on Xbox 360 and PC; we'll have more shortly...

Alone in the dark 2 is actually worse than its predecessor,its an insult to anyone with more than 1 brain cell and will make anyone who buys it very angry that they've forked out £40 for it.
