Eden Games confirms plans to release a patch for the Xbox 360 edition of Edward Carnby's fifth adventure; possible release in time for Christmas...
PlayStation 3 owners may reap the rewards of Alone in the Dark's delay on the platform, with a raft of fixes and improves on the way, but Eden Games has today confirmed that a limited patch may also be arriving for the Xbox 360 version.
During a presentation of the PS3 edition of Edward Carnby's latest outing at the Leipzig Game Convention, AITD Game Designer Emile Morel told TVG that the potential patch would improve the camera controls of the Xbox 360 edition, together with improved manoeuvrability for Carnby himself.
The patch - if finalised - could arrive before Christmas after the launch of the PlayStation 3 version. Morel also didn't rule out a re-release of the Xbox 360 version with a total patch at some point in the future.
Besides a host of improvements, PS3 owners can also look forward to a new sequence in the game, with Carnby getting chased on a subway train by a giant spider-like creature from hell.
The PlayStation 3 version of Alone in the Dark is due for release in November.

Is it me, or are games getting worse as the consles get better? Alone in the dark 2 is actually worse than its predecessor,its an insult to anyone with more than 1 brain cell and will make anyone who buys it very angry that they've forked out £40 for it.
