ive playerd l2 and guild wars for a long time each....in guild wars, ncsoft almost always reacted immediately if anything was wrong...(maybe sometimes overreacting a little)...both of them are far better as Wow, but im thinking that Aion will beat everything, its unbelievable..just think about flying throug the world (twice as big as the world of warcraft)...the graphics are beatiful and this nsc people reacting on what you do is an amazing idea...praise god for sending us this game ;) im goin to get it!

About having to buy a new computer NC did say that they were making it so that the requirements are low enough for every1 to play with the beautifullness of the game. (i am shopping for a video card just for this game though ;)

well, a lot of those things have recently been fixed about lin2, the chance of dropping items has been severely reduced and only after a pk. Also, they have hightened policing about bots and farmers... I still wouldn't play it, but obviously they are finally responding to feedback. Now they do have city of heroes and guild wars, both leading titles in the mmo world you have to hand them that. I am anxiously following this game, my biggest concern is that I would have to buy a new computer to play it. I don't spend 600+ dollars just to play one game... plus there is a frustration that comes with playing foreign based games, its hard to get support and less policing... we will see though, it is the best concept for a game I have heard in years.

I just hope they dont screw this up like they did lineage2, chinese farmers ruled everything. Non-bind on equip items allowing bots and farmers to do there worse(selling items online, thousands of bots)-(you would see bot trains of 5-10 dwarfs(the reason for dwarfs was because they had a special racial skill that allowed you to increase the drop rate of items on any mob you killed)... all the same armor set and faces and similar names killing a mob and doing everything at the same time and nothing was done about this). Impossible to lvl without full devotion for months and months, unable to gain enough money without buying it online or having complete trash armor and forever grinding for "adena" which was the currency in lineage2, items could break from enchanting after spending months farming enough crap for the item you want, you had a chance to drop your items when you died, you lost a good few hours of experience percentage if you died 1 time. So many other things its not even funny. If they screw up this incredible concept they have going for this game ~Aion~ in anyway, there is absolutely whatsoever no hope for NCsoft, I will never buy a game from them again. (remember they have many other failed titles) but this game to be honest looks more promising than any of the games Ive seen yet and the way they explained things makes this game sound like it will succeed and quite possibly force other game designers to think up new ideas :)
