An autumn release for Blue Dragon, followed by Lost Odyssey and ASH towards the end of the year...

An interview between 1UP and Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi has revealed provisional release periods for Blue Dragon in the West, along with his other upcoming projects.

Stating that Artoon's Blue Dragon, a rare Xbox 360 success in Japan, will launch in North America during August, Sakaguchi-san also suggested that his next 360 RPG, Lost Odyssey, would be released in Japan and North America during the Christmas period. Within the interview, Sakaguchi-san also suggests that his DS project, ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat, would also be released in Japan before the end of the year. Naturally, there's no word on when any of these will follow through to Europe, though we're quite hopeful that Blue Dragon should be released in time for Christmas at the very least.

In addition, Sakaguchi-san has also reportedly stated his interest in producing an MMO title for the Xbox 360 at GDC, a request that has allegedly been approved by Microsoft's Shane Kim.
