Sony's adaptation of 24 running slightly late as the game gets pushed into 2006...

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today confirmed a lengthy delay to the adaptation of the critically acclaimed, TV series 24.

Originally slated for release during Q4 2005, 24: The Game has now been pushed back to March 2006 in order to accommodate the ambitious production and tie-in of the project with the showâ??s creators and cast; whether or not this is a cleverly worded excuse for the current state of the title remains unknown, however the game did exhibit some promising signs at E3 when we last took a look at it.

The game was set to be a big Christmas hope for the Playstation2, so weâ??ll have to wait and see what repercussions the delay has; weâ??ll have further information soon.
