Japanese trade hints at a release date for EA's latest attempt at the world's greatest sports tournament...
With a World Cup fast approaching surely EA can't be too far behind. We've already had the slightly disappointing debut of FIFA on the Xbox 360, challenging players to take the Road to the World Cup, and now comes confirmation that the proper tie-in will be arriving shortly.
In light of official confirmation, Japanese trade reports have hinted at the release of 2006 FIFA World Cup on the Playstation2 at least for April 27th; expect every other format under the sun to launch close to this date.
